SWEDISH PERCUSSION was founded 1991 by Stig Löfholm. Stig has a solid percussionist background and he is also a technical engineer, which was a necessity to be able to start constructing and develop drums and percussion.

After six years of trying out materials and design he achieved the sound he was looking for and it was time to start the manufacturing. Every instrument is made by hand

Swedish Percussion foundation is to have the highest quality in sound and design. In every instrument can you feel that Stig has put his soul into the smallest detail. That reflects naturally in the products, which is appreciated by those who have bought and seen Swedish Percussion instruments.

Stig has also invented a unique combination of wood and metal for snare drums that is patented and unique in the drum manufacturing business.
